Sports Director's Message

Welcome to sport at Baradene College, where we promote participation and encourage excellence in all sporting areas. Participation in extra-curricular activities is an important feature of student life at Baradene, and we actively encourage all students to experience the advantages of healthy physical activity, team building skills and the sense of community that participation in sport offers.

There are many opportunities for our students to experience one or more of our 28 sports on offer, and to excel and develop in their chosen sport. We have a large number of dedicated sports staff, coaches, managers, parents and sports leaders who devote time and expertise to ensure our students have a positive and rewarding sporting experience. For our more elite athletes, our high performance programme "BEST" is an opportunity for athletes to reach their athletics potential.

We would like all of our students to participate in a sport of their choosing, and are always available to assist with sport selection and participation options.
